Rural island communities are struggling to build rental housing due to high labour and material costs and lower rents. As a result, there’s very little rental available in many communities. Join-us to learn about rental housing programs and progress being made.

Steven Brown, Interim Chief, Klahoose First Nation
First elected to council in 2019, he is the longest serving member of current council and is serving as the Interim Chief of the Klahoose First Nation.
