The Cortes Island Seniors Society (CISS), whose commitment to the welfare of seniors have propelled them to make affordable housing a possibility for more seniors and beyond. Their board members are as follows:

Elizabeth Anderson (liaison to CISS housing committee).
The Cortes Island Foundation (CIF) whose mandate is to foster a culture of giving and to support a wide range of emergent community needs. Their board members include: David Rousseau, Deepa Narayan, Ian Watson, Jodi Peters, Mark Spevakow, Christine McWilliams and De Clarke.
The Housing Committee (HC) is a subcommittee of the CISS. It is charged by both parties to envision, fund and execute this bold housing initiative, which was initially conceived and inspired by the CIF. Their members are:
